Rakotzbrucke, a devil's bridge located in Krolau Park, Saxony, Germany. There are many number of devil's bridge was built around different places in the world, but this bridge has the mysterious tale behind its architecture.
This devil's bridge was built in 1860 by the local knight of the city. The passionate architecture thought to built this unique landscape with rock spirkes at the two sides of the bridge seems like the bridge is made by satan and creates an evil outlook.
The bridge was built over the kromlau lake that its curvature is reflected into the water and looks like a perfect circle which made this bridge unique.
This iconic landscape hide deep inside the forest area which attracts the people across the lake and mainly photographers.
Mysterious Tale Behind the Devil's Bridge
The people lives in the period of construction said that the challenging landscape was built with the idea of a devil thats why this bridge is called as Devil's Bridge.
In return to its idea, the devil said to the architecture that it would took away the soul of first person pass across the lake. Inorder to fulfill the devil's condition he send a dog across the lake.
Some said that on seeing into the water the sides of bridge looks like at devil. It is believed that one who sails in boat under the bridge will unfold their mystical powers.
All stories are still a myth and many people got visiting the bridge at different sesaons. Spring and Autumn Fall seasons brings the colourful scenario of the bridge. Some restrictions are alloted to take walk on the bridge due to fine rocks consists at the two sides which is dangerous and the other side its for the protection of bridge from getting damage.
