"Vertical Horizon" is a photographic series created by Romain Jacquet-Lagreze. He is a French designer working in Los Angels, Tokyo. Few years before he visited Hongkong, there he admired by the skyscrapers of the city and decided to visual exploration of the city.
Hongkong is known as the world's best skline because of its ever-growing buildings. The view of the buildings in the city fascinating visitors eyes.
Jacquet started creating this photo series at different day lighs by often went to the same spot and favourite location. He used Nikon D5000 along with 10~20 mm wide angle lens. Without droping its beauty he took picture from top-up sight and deep-down at the bottom.
The immense urban architectures are so unique unlike other city buildings. This perfect construction is pictured by jacquet at different angles. He named the architectures as "Race to the sky". Seeing from bottom to top it seems like the buildings grows faster to reach the sky.
Also together the total buildings looks like Mahojing Titans game where cardsno arranged in a set one over the other. Racquet published two version books that contains the series of vertical horizontal pictures for exploring the skyline of hongkong.
