Microsoft's Underwater Datacenter | Project Natick💻📶

Microsoft plays a major role in this digital society provides updated Computer softwares, electronic gadgets..Being a protector for infinite number of datacenters. Every year they introduces so many new developments in the internet.  one of their acheivements gone successfully is knownof as "Project Natick"

Microsoft's Project Natick introduces the idea of submerging the datacenter with multiple servers deep down under the sea. Therefore the team chooses the Orknay Island of North Scotland.

PHASE~1

This project was conducted as two trial phases. In the first trial, they submerged only one server by enclosing it in a nitrogen filled container like datacenter. This phase took 105 days for trail as a result the submerged server cannot fluctuate in any situation and also runs without any damage. This phase was conducted in August 2015.

PHASE~2

Phase-2 involves 855 servers enclosed within the huge container like datacenter. This phase initiated in june 2018, sank the huge datacenter 117 feet under the sea. The data is highly designed with a renewable power supply and fully filled with nitrogen.

This datacenter remains submerged until this september. After the interval of two years, the naval team took off the datacenter from the water.

The datacenter completely wraps with algae, brcheoles, fungus. The servers inside the container get back from it after removing the dust. As a result, the team surprised that only 8 among 855 servers were damaged. This successful attempt gives us the hope that the datacenter under the sea is more sustainable than the datacenters at the land.

ADVANTAGES OF PROJECT NATICK

⏩ The chances getting corrosion is less in nitrogenic atmosphere rather than oxygen.

⏩ Consumption of energy is less under the sea, because the tidal waves act as renewable energy resources.

⏩ No need of installing cooling system. The temperature under the water remains cold in all weather conditions.

⏩ No interactions of human contact near the datacenter.

⏩ More reliable, sustainable,Fast when compared to land.

⏩ Required shorter period of time for construction of datacenter.

Golden Blood💢 | World's Rare Blood Type

Rh-null blood is known to be world's rarerest blood group which belongs to one in 6 million people. Due to its rare nature, Scientists called it as "Golden Blood".

Human body consists of different types of blood group such as red blood cells, white blood cells. The purpose of RBC is to carry the oxygen throughout the body and WBC is to prevent the body from injury and helps to heal the wounds.

Antigens present in the RBC different for each person. Depends upon the presence of antigen different blood groups are classified. If antigen is present then the blood type is considered as "positive". If it is absent then it is considered as "Negative"

By this way various types of blood groups are formed such as A+, A-, B+, B-, AB, O....

Rh-Null Blood

💢 The majority of antigens belongs to one system is formerly known as "Rhesus" contains 61 antigens.

💢 If blood lacks majority of antigens in RBC, then it is considered as Rhnull Blood group.

💢 From 1961 to the present day only 43 people reported with rhnull blood.

💢 It is advised to the people who has this blood type who supposed to donate blood in the blood bank because it is difficult to receive blood during any emergency situation.

Stunning Multi-coloured Maize | Glass Gem Corn🌾

Carl Barnes, a farmer in the Oklahoma always collected native sample seeds and save it for proper cultivation in his seed bank.

At the end of 20th century, while he collecting seeds barnes found an unusual vibrant colour variety seed. He took the seed sample and cultivate in his land. After few months he was surprised with an amazing results of stunning multi-coloured corn.

Habitation of Glass Gem Corn

This corn is not a sweet corn, it belongs to flint type, used for ornamental purposes and it is used by grinding into flour.

It grows well in the fertile soil and needs enormous amount of sunlight.

It is largely cultivated in Mexico. Since it is a flint type, it needs longer period to attain maturity.

After getting old, Barnes decided to gave his corn seeds to Greg Shoen in 1994. He excited by its appearnace and started cultivate. At first shoen didn't saw that much difference in its colour. After few years he got an extraordinary results.

Greg Shoen named the corn as Glass Gem Corn, after the growth of blue-green, pink-purple coloured corn in 2007. After sometime Greg decided to protect the corn seeds in a safe place so he submitted all the samples to McDorman, Execuetive Director of Native Seeds/Search. He established the glass gem corn to the public and still sell to the public at the cost of $7.95.

Is It Really Possible To Generate Electricity From Snowball⛄| Snow-TENG♒⚡

In this modern world electricity is generated from water, sun, wind, lightning, and many other natural sources. Previous year, UCLA research scientists Richard Kaner and his crew designed a new device for generating electricity from falling snow.

The device is planned to design with affordable price and flexible to the changing weather conditions. Researchers built a device using Silicone sheets. This sheets are like plastic material bends easily.

After did so many experiments using many materials such as teflon and aluminium foils they preferred silicone. Compared to other materials silicone produces a power about 0.8 W/m2 and an open circuit of voltage upto 8V. They developed this device with 3D printing sheets. They named the device as Snow-based Triboelectric Nanogenerators.

Concept of Triboelectric Generator

⚡ This generator works under the principle of static energy(The exchange of electrons when interaction of two oppositively charged materials).

⚡ Silicone is a negatively charged material which is ready to capture electrons from snow-fall.

⚡ Snow-fall is positively charged that gives up the electrons when contact with the silicone.

⚡ The charging of snow-fall depends on the temperature. If temp is the range  5°c to 10°c, then it is charged as positive. If temp is 15°c to 20°c, then it is charged as negative.

Multifunctions of Triboelectric Generator

⚡ This device acts as a self-powered sensor because it is battery-free device, monitoring the amount of snowfall, direction of wind.

⚡ This compact device also used as wearable sensor which helps to detect the movements and supports sports activities.

⚡ The researches also planned to integrated it with the solar panels because during winter seasons solar panels failed to genarate electricity.

Around 30% of earth surface is covered with snow during winter season. Inorder to balancing the failures of solar panels this nanogenarators was designed purposely. Unfortunately we are not experiancing any falling snow during winters but in the future might have the chance of changing climate conditions so inadvance we have to be in preparation for generating electricity.

Have you ever excited to met your own doppelganger?

Each person lives in this world have an unique face, but somewhere some people  who is not even our blood relation having their facial features similar with our facial features. That type of people are known as Doppelgangers.

Atleast once in our lifetime, somebody tells us that they saw a person "just like us". The person having similar facecut, nose, eyes or somehow their actions might familiar with another person.

For a perfect matching of doppelganger, it should be satisfied the following rule, all eight features matches perfectly. But researches explained that the probability of existance of doppelganger  having atleast one same feature is one in 135 pairs. If all the eight features of a person matches perfectly with another person, this possibility exists one in a trillion.

Michael Sheehan, assistant professor of neurobiology specialized in Behavioural ecology completed his research and found that, unlike other species humans have use their sight to identify and differentiate. They play a major role in social interactions and recognizing the features present in the face. They identified by the signal given by the brain, works as a software for face recognition.

Hidden gem of Vietnam | Anchovy Fishing🌊

Phu Yen is a huge landscape in Vietnam having rivers, lagoons, fertile plains and vast shoreline along with the south-central vietnam coast.
One of the pristine beauty of Phu Yen province is Hon Yen Island. The most attractive feature of this island along with its stunning view is that, Anchovy Fishing Boats.

The local residents of Phu Yen province have been step out for fishing in the Hon yen lsland coastal area. Like all fishing technique anchovy fishing also started by using fishing nets but its speciality is that its fishing nets are tunes perfectly with torquoise waters.

The fishermen used long green coloured net for fishing. Before sunrise, they started putting net deep down into the water because anchovies swim 30~40m deep into the sea.

Beneath the surface of water, fishing nets creates different shapes like oval, round, heart along with the movement of waters. This shapes seems like an wonderful arts that catches eyes of many photographers and visitors.

Fishermen went together with separate gangs before dawn and return back after dusk. Sometimes they caught anchovies within a miles because deep down under the water the long nets forming huge bag like structure that brings herd of fishes. They used bright coloured lights during night time inorder to attract the anchovy towards fishing net.
